After a shortened Spring Tour in 2011 due to the Rugby World Cup, it’s back to 4 Tests in November/December 2012. The Qantas Wallabies’ first stop in Paris will see them take on Les Bleus in front of 80,000 spectators as it will no doubt be a sell out.
We last took on France in Paris during the 2010 Spring Tour and our boys blew them away with an amazing 59 – 16 victory. All Aussie fans will be hoping for a favorable start to their campaign with another convincing win to set the tone for the following 3 tests. It will be a tough challenge against the Rugby World Cup runner-ups, but it promises to be one entertaining spectacle.
The Australian Wallabies first played against France (Les Bleus) in 1928, resulting in a win to Australia. They were not to win again until 1968, although in recent years Australia have dominated the encounter.
